Responsible Gambling
at Pak71

Pak71 is committed to providing a safe and transparent information environment for Pakistani users. We believe that sports betting and casino gaming should remain a form of entertainment — never a source of financial stress or personal harm. This page outlines the tools, limits and support resources available to help you stay in control.

18+

Adults only, or the higher minimum required
by the operator/license jurisdiction. Local laws apply.

Gambling should always be fun. Set limits, know your boundaries, and reach out if you need support.

Six Pillars of Responsible Play

Age Verification

Pak71 strictly prohibits access for anyone under 18 years of age, or the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. All new accounts undergo identity and age verification before any gameplay or betting activity is permitted.

Deposit & Loss Limits

You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits and loss limits directly from your account settings. Once a limit is in place, it takes effect immediately and cannot be increased without a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period.

Session Time Limits

Losing track of time is one of the most common signs of problem gambling. Set a session time limit on your account and we will notify you when your allotted time is reached, giving you a clear reminder to take a break.

Self-Exclusion Tools

If you feel gambling is getting out of hand, you can request a self-exclusion period ranging from 24 hours to permanent closure. During self-exclusion, your account is suspended and all marketing communications are stopped immediately.

Reality Checks

Our platform can send you regular reality-check notifications showing how long you have been playing and your net session result in PKR. These periodic reminders help you make conscious, informed decisions about continuing or stopping.

24/7 Support Access

Our support team is available around the clock via live chat and email. Whether you need help setting limits, activating self-exclusion or finding professional support resources, we respond promptly and without judgment.

What Does Responsible Gambling Mean?

Responsible gambling means engaging with sports betting, cricket odds and casino games as a leisure activity — with clear boundaries on time and money, and with the awareness that losses are always possible. At Pak71, we want every user, whether they are following PSL fixtures from Lahore or watching ICC tournament matches from Karachi, to approach gambling with the same discipline they would apply to any entertainment budget.

Problem gambling does not discriminate. It can affect people of any age, income level or background. The key warning signs include chasing losses, borrowing money to fund bets, hiding gambling activity from family members, and feeling anxious or irritable when unable to gamble. If any of these resonate with you, it is important to act early rather than wait until the situation worsens.

Pakistani users should also be aware that local laws, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, may restrict or prohibit online gambling in their jurisdiction. Pak71 does not hold a Pakistan gambling license and does not provide legal advice. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws applicable in your area before participating in any gambling activity.

Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Do not use funds intended for rent, utilities, school fees or household expenses. Gambling is entertainment, not a reliable source of income.
Pak71 Tip: Before your next betting session on PSL or an ICC match, decide on a fixed PKR amount you are comfortable losing entirely. Once that amount is spent, stop — regardless of the score.
Are You Gambling Responsibly?

Ask yourself the following questions honestly. If you answer "yes" to two or more, consider reaching out for support.

1 Have you ever bet more than you planned to in a single session?
2 Have you returned to gambling after losing money to try and win it back?
3 Has gambling caused arguments or tension with family or friends?
4 Have you borrowed money or sold possessions to fund gambling?
5 Do you feel restless, irritable or anxious when not gambling?
6 Have you tried to cut down your gambling but found it difficult?
7 Has gambling ever made you miss work, studies or important commitments?
If two or more of the above apply to you, please contact our support team or one of the responsible gambling resources listed on this page. Help is available and there is no shame in asking for it.

How Self-Exclusion Works

Self-exclusion is one of the most powerful tools available to you. When you activate it, Pak71 will immediately:

  • Suspend your account and prevent any login access
  • Block all deposit and wagering functions
  • Remove you from all marketing and promotional email lists
  • Flag your account to prevent re-registration under the same details
  • Refer your details to the Operator's responsible gambling system for cross-platform enforcement where supported
Important: Self-exclusion is not reversible before your chosen period ends. If you select a 6-month exclusion, your account will remain closed for the full 6 months — no exceptions. If you select permanent exclusion, your account cannot be reopened.

To request self-exclusion, go to your account's Responsible Gambling settings, or contact our support team directly at any time — day or night. For users in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar, the same process applies uniformly across Pakistan.

Our Commitment to You

Pak71 will never market to a self-excluded user. We treat every self-exclusion request with the utmost seriousness and process it within minutes of receiving the request.

Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually. Understanding the warning signs is the first step toward getting back in control.

Chasing losses means continuing to bet — often with larger amounts — in an attempt to recover money already lost. This is one of the most dangerous patterns in gambling behaviour. The belief that a win is "just around the corner" is a cognitive distortion. Every bet is an independent event, and past losses do not influence future outcomes. If you notice yourself raising stakes after a losing streak during PSL matches or live casino sessions, stop immediately and take a break.

If you find yourself concealing the amount you bet, lying about losses, or feeling ashamed of your gambling activity, this is a strong indicator that it has moved beyond healthy entertainment. Secrecy often signals that on some level you already know your gambling has become problematic. Talking to a trusted person — a family member in Lahore, a friend in Islamabad — is often the hardest but most important first step.

Using borrowed money, credit facilities, or funds from an Easypaisa or JazzCash account that you rely on for essential expenses to fund gambling is a clear red flag. Gambling should only ever be funded from genuinely disposable income — money left over after all bills, rent, food and family commitments are covered. If you are borrowing to gamble, please seek support immediately.

Gambling to escape stress, loneliness, anxiety or depression is a serious warning sign. While a cricket match or live casino session can provide temporary relief, relying on gambling as an emotional coping mechanism creates a cycle that becomes increasingly difficult to break. If gambling feels like the only thing that lifts your mood, professional support is strongly recommended.

Missing work deadlines, skipping family commitments or neglecting daily responsibilities because of time spent gambling is a significant warning sign. Gambling should fit comfortably within your lifestyle — it should never consume time that belongs to your family, career or personal wellbeing. If you are losing track of time during live T20 betting sessions or casino play, activate a session time limit in your account settings.

If you have tried to cut down or stop gambling and found it difficult or impossible to follow through, this suggests the behaviour may be compulsive. Compulsive gambling is a recognised condition with effective treatments available. The fact that self-control attempts have failed is not a personal failing — it is a sign that professional support is needed. Pak71 strongly encourages any user in this situation to request self-exclusion and seek external help.

Needing to bet increasingly large sums of PKR to experience the same level of excitement is a classic sign of developing tolerance — similar to substance dependency. If your minimum bet has grown significantly since you started, and modest bets no longer feel engaging, this is a clear indicator that gambling has moved from recreation to compulsion. Consider reducing your wager limits immediately.

Sleep disruption, persistent anxiety, depression, headaches or other physical symptoms linked to gambling wins and losses are signs that the activity is causing genuine harm to your health. Your wellbeing is far more important than any bet. If gambling is affecting your mental or physical health, please step away from the platform and contact a healthcare professional or one of the responsible gambling support organisations listed below.

Protecting Young People from Gambling

Pak71 has a zero-tolerance policy on underage gambling. All users must be 18 years of age or older, or meet the higher minimum required by the operator's license jurisdiction. Age and identity verification is mandatory for all accounts.

If you share a device or household with minors — for example in a family home in Lahore or Karachi — we strongly recommend using parental control software to prevent children from accessing gambling websites. Options such as Net Nanny, Qustodio and built-in device parental controls can restrict access to gambling-related content.

Never share your Pak71 login credentials with anyone, including children or younger siblings. Always log out of your account when using shared devices and ensure your password is not stored in the browser on shared computers or mobile phones.

If you suspect a minor has accessed a gambling account: Contact our support team immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and take immediate action including account suspension.
Secure Your Account

Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication. Never store passwords on shared devices or let browsers auto-fill your gambling credentials.

Device Controls

Use parental control software on any device that children can access. Most smartphones and computers have built-in screen time and content filtering tools that are free to use.

Log Out Every Time

Always sign out of your Pak71 account after each session, particularly on tablets and family computers that multiple household members use daily.

Talk to Your Family

Open conversations about responsible gambling and the risks involved help create awareness within the household. Children who understand the risks are better equipped to make safe decisions as adults.
